Large 8vo (7 ” x 8 ”). pp.171. Art Nouveau binding design executed completely in woodcut by Gerrit W. Dijsselhof on a half black calf over paper covered boards with a repeating crayfish motif in gold along the sides of the spine and on the corners blocked in gold leaf.
The endpapers are covered in a woodcut design by Dijsselhof of repeating birds on a field of intertwined foliate motifs. Printed on Van Gelder laid paper with deckled edges.
Includes a total of 35 woodcut head and tail pieces by Dijsselhof.
