The Blue Fairy Book (1889) contains thirty-seven tales, among them almost all of the classic fairy stories -- including Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Snow-White.
The present second edition of Lang's popular fairy stories was released soon after the first in 1889, and is as exceptionally scarce as the first edition.
A very good copy with slight rubbing to the gilt and the extremities; light scattered foxing to the prelims; wear and three small closed tears to the fore-edge margin of the frontis. leaf. Exceptionally scarce either in the first or second edition.
