Unsigned Art Nouveau binding design in salmon, light green, black and gold on tan buckram of a central panel containing the heads of three sleeping children inside poppy blossoms with a narrow panel above containing titles with a background of poppy flowers, and one below containing the remaining titles with a background of candlesticks. Spine decorated in gold, green and black with the titles, and outline of a poppy and a candlestick.

A collection of bed-time stories created by the author for her own children where bees, birds, insects and flowers entertain two little children, and told with a dash of religious thought thrown in.

A near fine copy with a contemporary gift inscription on the ffep. Scarce; exceptionally so in this condition.
