A description of more than 450 varieties of wild flowers, classified by color.The second of two bindings Miss Armstrong created for the editions of this book; this binding being a structured but simultaneously fluid design whose silver elements immediately draw the eye. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt rereleased this book (retaining the Armstrong cover) in 1989. A very good + copy with Light soiling to the edges and occasional finger soiling to the text. GE 70. Scarce in this binding and in this condition.
