Golf instruction from Cecil Leitch, a trail-blazing woman golfer whose dress attracted as much attention as did her physicality -- she eschewed the tight, restrictive dress for women players of the time, to become the first woman golfer to have loose fitting clothes that would allow her to take a wide stance.
Considered stylistically ahead of her time and the first of the "Amazon" golfers, Leitch was one of the first women golfers to play against and defeat men to become a four-time British Amateur Champion, Four-time French Amateur Champion and one-time Canadian Champion. This, Leitch's first book, discusses the basics of the games and provides advice to "Lady Players". An important book from an early break-through woman player. Scarce.
