A very good copy with cloth on spine moderately sun faded, but titles still clearly visible, and faint age toning to page edges; in a price-clipped VG-dust jacket with some toning to the spine and top edges. Written in the style of Richard Burton’s 17th C. “Anatomy of Melancholy”, Jackson’s Anatomy of Bibliomania is a compendium of knowledge and lore of the book and the love of books. From the morphology and dimensions of books and how bookmen conquer time and place; to Grangeritis and the symptoms, causes and cures of bibliomania, The Anatomy of Bibliomania is a rollicking good read for any book lover.
