A tour of the nature, art, history and legends of the cities, towns and forests along the Rhine. A fine set with the bookplate of Franklin D. Edmunds on the front past-downs and his neat ownership mark on both title pages. The very good dust jackets are heavily rubbed at the top edge and on the rear side and spine panels; the dust jacket for vol. 1 has ink spots to the rear panel.
