Appended with a letter to the publisher from Theophilus Swift, the Irish writer and poet who was the second cousin of Dean Swift. Includes 5 facsimile letters. A entertaining collection of passages from Swift's works along with amusing anecdotes said to be by Swift, although the their authenticity is considered questionable. The wonderful addition of facsimile manuscript letters to and from Dean Swift makes this book a must for Swift collectors.
