Green half calf over light green cloth with raised bands and gilt tooling in each compartment; laid, watermarked paper; original ribbon markers; pale green endpapers; t.e.g. Includes "Dorian Gray" published by Charles Carrington, who held the copyright for this work, but permitted it to appear in Robert Ross' uniform edition of Wilde's works that Ross issued as Wilde's estate executor and administrator. Includes all 12 volumes of Ross' Second Collected Edition of Wilde's Works plus Dorian Grey, which was released as a supplemental volume to this set with an illustrated version of Salome.
Mixed later (1910 - 1913) editions all based on Methuen's 1908 limited edition of Wilde's works. Extremities slightly rubbed, mild offsetting from turn-in in a few volumes. An attractive set. Mason 481 - 525. Scarce.
