12mo (7¾" x 4¼"). pp. [i - vi]; [1] - 115; (1 blank); colophon. Limited edition. This copy #154 of 300 on hand-made Van Gelder paper. Gray paper covered boards stamped on front and rear in a black and gold Grolier-style design forming a central cartouche containing titles. Spine stamped with narrow concentric panels in gold; middle panel filled. Arts & Crafts style floriate boarder in green surrounding first page of text. Deckle edged paper. Calling card and inscription from Arthur H. Hahlo on ffep recto; light rubbing to length of spine and moderate chipping to head and tail, otherwise a sharp and bright example of early 20th century small press work in the Morrisonian tradition.

Small Folio (12½" x 9¼"). pp. [112]. Limited edition; this copy number 33 of 50 copies printed on Japan Vellum. Cream colored Japan vellum covered boards with titles and Arts & Crafts style grapevine decoration stamped on front board and titles stamped in gold on spine. Decorated title page, decorative boarders and floriate initials on every page by Louis B. Coley, printed in double leaded Satanick type (black-letter). Although Coley decorated a number of books, he is best known for his work on this one. Unopened copy with neat gift inscription on ffep recto has toned spine with two spots at the foot whose title still remains bright. A truly spectacular example of this scarce book from America's fine press movement in the Morrisonian tradition. Potter, 253.

Floriated initial letters by Harry Everett Townsend that were hand illuminated by Barbara Peattie. A beautiful production in impeccable contition.
