This Armstrong binding is uniform with 6 other Cable novels including Old Creole Days, The Grandissimes and Strong Hearts. Gullans and Espey 54. A bright, fresh copy with sunning to spine, two gently bumped corners and light age toning to the edges.

Issues of Little Journeys were paginated serially. Signed Dard Hunter binding in sewn grey paper decorated in red and black in Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow Arts & Crafts style. Includes title page in red and black by Dard Hunter and a two color frontis portrait of Astor detached but present. All book elements including floriated initial caps and tail pieces designed by Hunter. Printed on Boxmoor paper. Very good with age toning to preliminaries, edges of wraps with light wear, rear corners folded and contemporary ownership mark. McKenna 182.
